Safety & Acceptable Use

Review what is allowed, what is prohibited, and how SCRShare handles abusive uploads.

Report an abusive screenshot

Open the screenshot URL on its SCRShare delivery domain and use Report this screenshot. Select the most appropriate reason—such as scam/phishing, adult content, spam, harassment, copyright, malware, or other—and add useful details.

Submitting a report does not guarantee immediate removal. Reports may be automatically scored, quarantined, or reviewed based on severity and available evidence.

Request removal of your screenshot

If you accidentally shared private information, use your deletion control or signed-in account where available. If you cannot access those controls, submit a report on the screenshot and clearly state that you are requesting removal. Include the exact screenshot URL.

Troubleshooting uploads

  1. Use PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP, or GIF.
  2. Keep the file within the size shown on the upload page.
  3. Complete the security verification.
  4. Try again after a short wait if you have hit a rate limit.
  5. Disable unusual browser extensions temporarily if they interfere with upload or security verification.
  6. Try a current version of Safari, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.

Security reminder

Before sharing a screenshot, check it for passwords, API keys, seed phrases, payment details, private messages, identity documents, addresses, customer data, or other confidential information. Once another person has received an image, SCRShare cannot control copies they may have saved elsewhere.
